Normally I’m not an advocate of beer with fruit, but for Hop Valley’s Imperial Mistress I’ll make an exception.  The grapefruit peel in this beer gives me a distinct impression of spring even though it’s still more than a month away – fleeting moments of sunlight and springtime are few and far between during February in the Pacific Northwest so I’ll take it whenever I can!

Tangy, crisp and relatively easy to drink. Given the chance I could easily drink more of this than I should.

Rating may be somewhat influenced by this brief respite in the weather and this beer’s high abv (8.5%), author takes no responsibility for any sense of euphoria you get from drinking this beer.
